I have been recently been indulging in the MB2SE & IB2i, and can honestly say I have never heard bass, mid-range & high frequencies like it. Smooth extension & definition to bass; different to what I have heard from conventional bass reflex ported speakers.

Dropping it in the Dealer rather than DIY section as it is being made for a client.

The general design will be a cast resin plinth for the 401 and a mass addition sub plinth for the arm all cased in a solid flamed Maple frame with a lacewood top plate. Further details will become evident during the build.

Materials used will include; resin, bentonite, maple, lacewood, resinated bamboo, birch ply, brass, titanium, stainless steel and an isolating ruberised filler....oh, some lead work and oak too.

Will take a couple of months so watch this space.
