Just found this:

http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=37447

A US HiFi Forum stumbled on our test and have a thread running on it.:cool::dude::dude: pop over and say hi lads. I will when I get home.

Cheers,
James.

Seems as negative as most of the Sit-On-Their-Arse-And-Bitch brigade here in the UK.

Shame so few have the balls to stand-up and be counted if they're so feckin' clever.

Indeed Earl. Can no one recognise that you have tried very effing hard with this and most people are just upset that the results didn't match their preconceptions.

yeah, I reckon another pat on the back for the testers, whilst nothing conclusive was definate from that particular test, it was usefull in a number of ways, firstly, folks are now talking of a more robust method for the next one, and secondly, folks are actually discussing it, who would otherwise have sat on thee fence, as for the detractors, well sorry guys there are negative folk everywhere, and some will poo poo something that they don't believe or that they haven't done themselves

Well I can't personally take any credit - I had by far the easiest job on the day, I'm just saddened that a lot of the negativity will put-off potential testees for future more comprehensive tests.

I'm not in any way surprised this test was inconclusive, nor am I surprised that those with an axe to grind have laughed it out of court - I just wish a few more Clever Fokkers would actually get actively involved...  I can accept any outcome other than ignorance and apathy.

On a more positive note: Looking forward to Kiang's cable pass-the-parcel - hope everyone's signed-up?

Crickey! The Americans? You think that is bad. I hear that the Spanish are also having a go. The Spanish! Who's next? The Angolans? More than likely, I shouldn't wonder.

Oh those Hydrogenaudio boys two of them already came over to join in the discussion in the result thread. After reading a small portion of their forum I think not only are they hardcore cable sceptics but fanatical in looking down at audiophile forums in general. They just assume everyone else forums are populated by people unable to question what they read in audio magazines. :P
