The Emotion came last night:D.  I have got to say that even straight out of the box it is excellent.  I ran it for about 3 hours last night, the difference between the Emotion and the Debut is Night and Day.  It pulls so much more detail out of the recording, I'm still smiling now.

Can't wait to get some more hours on it, hopefully there is plenty more to come from it.

When Paul (Rochester Hi-Fi) was putting it together the look on Mrs B's face was not a happy one, she didn't like the contrast between my black kit and the Emo.  She didn't say very much all night to be honest.  Laying in bed later she said "That new record player (she says that on purpose) sounds very nice doesn't it, it makes up for the looks." I was so happy I offered to let her shag me.

I didn't ask Paul how long I can have it on trial for but I don't think it will be making the return trip to the shop.

Cheers BB

Some women just have no taste. That deck is gorgeous and I think it's set off really nicely against the Black Creek kit.

Cheers Alex, I love the looks, I'm like a kid at Christmas. It makes me come out in a big grin just looking at it when it's switched off.

Mrs B is actually going to be buying it for me so I hope want her to be happy. I showed her pictures of the Funk, Roksan, Project etc in the same price range and she didn't like any of them.  She is warming to the Emo.

Cheers BB

The creeks look loads better in black than silver IMO. Brown Bottle, you have a lovely looking system there.

New system pics...

When not listening, speakers go back against wall and cable around fireplace where it blends in very nicely indeed...

And for those interested in connections and novelty wire...

Sorry about the size and quality, I'm not very good with a camera.

??

I typed Dock green into google and it came up with somewhere on the south coast.

Where is Dock Green then ?  I'd love to come round if your close enough !  Likewise, pop over to Warrington and listen to mine if you like !

Shall we continue this via PM so as not to bore everyone on the bits and bobs thread
