Is that how long before it spawns. :minikiev:
First pressings son !
I should have known better than to post on a Saturday night
If we can be serious for a second or three.
I didn't get the instructions that Hi Audio aparently provide with all their arms, so had to make do with the useless one page thing that Hadcock send. I put the thing together, fiddled with it until Everything lined up and looked level and marvelled at how bloody good it sounded.
However you see all over the web people complaining how it took them 3 nights to set up etc even with the good instructions.
Have I done something wrong you reckon or am I just a genius
well done ant, is there a big improvement over the rega?

Rudolph, it sounds different to the Origin Live arm and to my ears a lot better.
Records that were difficult to listen to before are now good. Records that were good are now great. I'll not go off on one too much as I've not managed to play it loud and go through all the records I want yet but early impressions are very good indeed.
ant post us a photo of it in action. when i went from a rega 300 to the sme v there was an improvement, but not a £1000 worth of improvement.
it changed the sound exactly as the hadcock has changed yours.
there is about 500 quid between the two arms and I'd say it was 500 quids worth of difference for sure.
Imaging is incredible, sounds more agile etc. but like I say want to really listen before saying too much.
I must say I thought the build quality was toilet though
Lovely sounding tonearm, but like you say, build quality is pants...
I demmed one at Walrus which was held together with blu-tack - they said it was the only way of making theirs work... I definitely had trouble with it, wot with all the wobbling and my cack-handed-ness!
Listening at normal volume now![]()
it sounds different to the Origin Live arm
Sure thats not better ?
yes it's better
Ant...hoorah! bet it's lovely. Does it sound a little crisper, lighter, more focussed?
WTF are 'incense owls'?
Crisper, lighter and more focussed yes. the vocals are thrust upon you but not in a nasty way. I can listen quieter with the same level of emotional attatchement. It handles complex works very well.
One thing that is wierd is how tall the soundstage is, makes me feel a bit queesy when drunk
show us a photo then ant?
There you go
Just shows that if you've got a good product, you can still make it look like it's 1970, and no-one will care![]()
