My Dad's amp has died a death, and he's totally without music, poor chap. I'm off to see him Sunday and I was thinking of getting him a replacement. Doesn't have to be anything special, but nothing too edgy. I'm out of touch with the sub £100 quid market, so I'm after ideas.
Looked at the Cambridge Audio A1 with optional phono stage (he has MM), which is about the right price, but I have no idea what it is like.
Also I think his old amp is all DIN, so I guess I'll have to get the soldering iron out.
All helpful suggestions gratefully received.
