So if I have a template for a plinth (just wood nothing special) what is the best sort of company to tap up for cutting it all how I want it?
Do wood suppliers offer more than simply cutting to size?

It depends rather on what exactly you want doing. The chances are you just need a decent joiner - however, they will need a workshop so the chances are that they will make their day-to-day money making (hand made) kitchens and bits of furniture to order.

Any independent joinery manufacturer should have the machinery/be able to do this work for you if you give them a drawing. What timber are you proposing to use?

well the drawing I have is for a multi layered plywood design so its not really DIY for me as I don't have access to a bench or a band saw.
I suppose thinking about it logically a local joiner would be the common sense route, I just wondered whether they'd bother with small one off jobs like this as I guess there isn't much money in it for them.

its a Lenco GL75, the arm wont matter as it will fit the top plate of the TT.
I think some of the layers are a bit too fidly for a jigsaw, well, from my experience of cheap Damage It Yourself jigsaws anyway!
