We are on our way, we are on our way!
Yes, depending on what the LP is .... did you have anything specific in mind?
There were an awful lot of DG LPs made & sold, so they tend not to be too rare & valuable. But it all depends ....
MBL 116F speakers, Krell KAV-250a amp, Tisbury passive pre, McCormack UDP-1 universal player, Technics SL-150ii / AT-1010 arm, MiniMax phonostage, Ortofon MC25FL /Zu DL-103/Shure V15iii, Cables: Dark Angel i/c and VdH Wind ii spkr, Nordost Magus & AG1500 power
Hi...DG did have very good reputation in the 70's / 80's as the makers of fine recordngs, and certainly have a catalogue of great concerts and conductors on their lists. Most of what I own (maybe 50 clasical) are good recordings, but not all. As to value, I've not heard that they stand out, but there must be rare ones?
WTF are 'incense owls'?
As I'm aware the tulip label issues are the most collectable(blue tulips around centre label)
Also stereos with a red stereo on the front sleeve.
Its a brand new Kookaburra son.
In itself, not really though the Tulip versions tend to fetch slightly higher price. Also the place of pressing also makes a small difference - Holland and UK tend to be better iirc...
From a sound quality point of view, I've found some of the 70-80s DG recordings tend to sound thin...

I seem to have inherited a 'few' DG LPs which I haven't played yet - will try to make time to listen/flog them on very cheaply to peeps who feel need to spend 4k on cartridge.
