Loads of "general" sales jobs (took me a morning to be offered several) but you need to negotiate a good basic before signing anything !!

I'm looking to break away from my current surroundings - experienced automotive writer both for consumer and B2B publications, website and social media editor for a global special interest automotive/industrial/heavy duty publication. I was also a pop journo in a former life (1987-94, first forays into professional journalism).

Bachelor's degree in journalism & master's degree in arts & cultural sciences. My first language is Dutch obviously, but my written English is probably at native speaker level. Good skills in German, as well.

No dependants and low mortgage payments for current home, so willing to move just about anywhere if the conditions are right.

Would obviously also consider opportunities with hifi-related publications/media.

All suggestions or introductions much appreciated.

At the moment I'm a service engineer for urine analysis instruments. (yeah I know).
I have mostly serviced instrumentation, but have done a bit of video and audio electronics in the past.

    Search Engine Optimisation.

This has always been a speciality at Rab Towers, and if I do say so myself, we are pretty damned good at it. Results speak for themselves, and we have a few clients at Google page one top three positions for search terms. Some of the increases in Google position are rather spectacular. We know what we are doing, and we do it properly.

We are now somewhat 'on the cusp' here. I've gone out on a limb and taken on a couple of major contracts, which means that I've also had to take on some people. Worth the risk, but the result is that I have some capacity that I could seriously do with filling.

I am willing to do some daft deals for a handful of Google search terms for anyone with an established website. We can take on possibly two or three clients, and I really do mean daft money.

Please pm me, or mail to info@internet-image.co.uk and let's talk.

Expansion seems like a good idea at the moment, but the ring is twitching a little and I'd be very, very happy to cover some outgoings right now...

    As above.

Networking, it says. Actually, this is more blatant advertising, so if any mod thinks it's inappropriate, please pull it!

Probably quite a few of you here have websites for your business. If people can't find you when they search Google or the others, you might as well not have bothered. Search Engine Optimisation is what it's called, and it's something I've specialised in for years, as well as some design work and software development.

A few years ago, I really thought it was semi-retirement time. Take it easy(ish). Decorate the house, fix the bathroom, build an amp or two, sort the garden. Do a little web stuff for a few old clients and just take life easy. Ah. If only. Was fine for a while, but then a couple more clients arrived. Then another. Then I took on a big contract. Now, my dreams of early retirement somehow seem to have been massacred by my enjoyment of making things work and building up the business. I have broken every rule in my book and now employ people again, plus have substantial contracts with subcontractors.

What do we do? Simple. If your website is good enough, we use various established techniques to get it higher up search engine results when people type in what they are looking for. We don't do pony work, we don't do anything that isn't 100% within the search engine guidelines and if your site isn't good enough, you can forget it, because we won't touch it. However, in most cases we can work with an existing site, or improve it to the extent that it's what the search engines are looking for when they deliver results to people. I can provide numerous examples of sites now in the top few search results in Google and other search engines, purely down to our work.

You know me, possibly from here, and you know I am not a bs merchant. I don't do fools and I don't do amateurs. My business is 100% professional, as it's my income. I have a laugh and joke here and probably (certainly) rile a few people, but if we look at a site and take it on, you are guaranteed our 100% professional commitment. And results.

Client comment: "Christ, we knew you were good, but we didn't know you were that good". Hideaway Club Hotel, now Google page one position one or two for 'small Mediterranean hotels' and 'small Cyprus hotels'. Previously not in first 20 pages of Google for either term.

Plenty more examples. We have the capacity, so forget the dumb quotes you get, and for God's sake ignore the people who mail you every damned day telling you they guarantee you this that and the other, because they can't and they'll most likely bigger your site for good.

    Mail me. info@internet-image.co.uk
