Has anyone in the tent used an SME309 with a Gyro/Orbe? We've establised that the SME IV and V are extremely good but not exactly small change. The 309 would bridge that gap somewhat.
Still I am happy with the Tabriz on mine although at some point I imagine I'm going to try an Artemiz.

Certainly on the Gyro/Orbe the Techno makes a lot of sense. Designed by Michell, one of the few OEM Rega arms where the Michell staff were trained by Rega themselves to build their arms.
It's just a good match on the Michell decks. SME iv/v and Moerch DP6 are the ones I've heard that are seriously better than the Techno on the Orbe SE. All cost a fair bit more.

Well,I suspect the time isright to send the tecnoarm back to Cable Monkey (sorryI've kept it so long - it'll be a real wrench tosee it go......).
What a bloodygood arm it is.
I can feel my eyes welling up.

I currently use a Roksan Artemiz on my Orbe SE, I believe it is up there with the SME V. You may find one second hand for a reasonable price as they have never been the most fashionable arm oustside of Roksan users. Roksan refurbished my ancient MK I to near MK II specs for a moderate price (sorry can't remember how much) and you won't need a new armboard.
