    Now in my poor english.
Thanks a customer a tested T-amp with a cd player aeron ad10 (500 euro, very fine at level of cds1.1 of Vincent, no far fron cds6) with 2 MS902 Mordaunt, easy to manage.

The sound is terrible. This demostrate that many persons have no ever heard a good sound.
It's like say that Onkyo a/v sound well.

I think people are saying that it is good at £40 Paul, not that it is the best amp.

Ihave never heard it so i cannot really comment.

At £200.00 it is a very good amp. PB is just trying to bring the conversation round to one of his bargain products Umberto. I have seen him use excellent English before, he has selective English and posts only to promote his own products.

This ill not continue any longer. We are in charge here, and therefore can have our cake and eat it.

    Bye bye Paul.

James do you think you can create an icon or such like to inform viewers that paul berry is a dealer and that his views may be biased.
At times he is irritating but most times it is just comical.

The trouble is Kiang, I have told Paul that he can subscribe to become a registered dealer on this forum. Then he can promote his products all he likes. He has refused my offer (it's only £20.00 for all the advertising he wants) and continues to promote stuff anyway.

AudioOrigami, Tony and Effem have all paid for the privelage, why shouldn't he. If he continues in this vein then I will have to ban him and that would be a real shame as most of teh time iot is as you say, Comical.

Who has a sales hifi activity don't may post opinions!?

    Normally the answer is no.

But off course I think is a rule vs the liberty of word.

I know is difficult to undestand.

I know that many sales persons don't like her job and are not credible but I say that this person doesn't like also to speak here.
So I don't see the true problem.

The true problem is that is difficlt to undestand that if a sales in hifi speaks here is for pleasure to help the others in the correct choice.

it doesn't 'help' to tell everyone that they're mistaken and should infact have bought an obscure chinese product that you happen to stock.

Its not 'helpful' to state that tabletop cd players are dead because of one soneteer niche product that won't even come close to threatening cd players

Its not 'helpful' to compare a £20 T-amp to a 120 euro amplifier.

There are so many examples of outrageous statements made by you that arn't very helpful to anybody tbh

    Paul Berry...

You may not like the T-Amp, but there are many other users who do.

You are entitled to your opinions but it will be more polite and positiveto express them in a logical and intelligent way andwithout attacking others or drawing attention to your activities as a hi-fi dealer.

Otherwise, you are not helping yourself here and will remain misunderstood by many.

Try replacing those nasty ceramic capacitors and inductors in the T-amps coupling sectionwith 2.2uf polypropylenes.

Replace the decoupling cap on the main pcb to a nice low esr type and feed the amp a good psu.

Add some small heatsink to the Tripath chip

It will knock the stuffing out of that Onkyo;)

I have a diyAmp3 from 41hz audio, its very similar to the SI T-amp but uses a different chip (slightly higher power TA2021B) better inductors in the output stage etc

I've seen the innards of the T-amp though, due to the cost of this little amp the components are not exactly that good so sticking in some decent parts makes sense, the original ceramic coupling caps are only around 0.47uf so the bass proably sounds thin in some systems
