Wow love that nice toning and exquisite placement - That little light spot in front of the trees is really nice -The trees are a leaning a little, is it worth squaring them up?

Much as I welcome praise John I think you are referring to Stickman's rather nice misty lake shot

Perhaps the prize should be a new reinforced gusset for those poor trousers. If the seams on the thighs are stretched like that, what the hell must be going on round the backdoor

Just printed a photo of this rather fantastic, but disturbing sculpture, The Naked Christ, by Michele Coxon. Apparently she also paints fluffy kittens and is one Britain's best loved children's illustrators!

The sculpture is currently in St Asaph Cathedral.

Thanks for the positive comments, getting my moneys worth out of the little X10.

I really like that Tillman, I envisage a visit to North Wales over the Christmas holidays.

Cheers for the crack re the trees - I'll have a go at tilting them.

Very effective statue Tillman. A disturbing feel to it that works well.

One from this mornings dog walk en route to Nan Bield Pass - weather closed in a bit to be honest.

    Hahhahahahahahaha

I've been up there in that sort of weather, and dreamy is not the right word at all. I was up Great Langdale once, with the Mrs in the Winter when the weather suddenly closed in, we were only a few miles from the road but still, yikes.

    hahahaha!

    Southerners! (you! )
You really should visit me some time mate, you'll be much surprised on how the climate* here is (the NW mountainous area of Greece)
This weather, snowy and really closed in is what we prefer cause the alternative is very foggy weather (as was yesterday, didnt brake up not for a minute) or VERY icy....frozen lake etc...

*not only for witnessing the weather dumb! for the good times too!
