    Playing with my Samyang 35mm f/1.4 lens today, this sign should say "grandmothers are just antique little girls", love what the shallow f/1.4 does;

    Thanks lads - it was purely a spur of the moment shot.

    Lee, I think your recent crop of abstract pics have been brilliant - keep them coming.

    A special mention for DJ's Beardie and Mac's collie

    It's great to see more and more people showing their images on here. Rick you're image of Corfe Castle takes me back to a holiday about 50 years ago when I saw it last . Lovely image .

    Lee Big Stopper filter, so around 30 secs @ f11.
    canon 10-22mm lens on a 550d, so cropped sensor.
    I've discovered Hyperfocal focussing, so the lens is on manual focus @ around 3ft.

    The tricky bit was not falling over the edge

    Took the car for a new set of tyres this morning, close to the tyre depot was an array of flowers in a public area, so returned a short time later with camera. This end result was hand-held at f/1.4, holding one's breath, you become experienced after a while.

    This is straight out of the camera, NO editing at all was done.
