Thank you TK for your Paris picture I finally got it mounted on acrylic and thinks it looks brilliant.
Mark that should be the poster for the stage show. Did you do any post processing ?
Mark. Do you ever take a merely average photo?
Not been around for a while but I see the quality of images here continues to improve. Far too many too mention individually but the TK water skier/boarder shot is absolutely fab. Never fail to admire and enjoy Mark's images but Tel's edited arcade shot really does it for me
Anyway been up to Scotland and really had poor weather in the main, lots of rain and howling gales . Took this on the Isle of Skye and was really pleased with it.

Cracking shot from a great location. Elgol is a great place. Last time I was there two guys arrived in a brand new Porsche 4 door diesel sports thing. They'd driven overnight on one tank of diesel and were doing a magazine review. They were polishing it and taking pictures with a big Nikon.
wow Mark (again)
Les: that's excellent! Love the mood, the perspective...err everything about it!
I can watch it for hours!
Graham: very nice!
One point perspective like Stanley Kubrick!

Marj, my wife and best friend, says my passions are obsessions.
Les that's a great pic - captures the brooding Black Cuillins superbly and great depth to the pic as well. Like the colour version of the road Gthang - superb. I'll nick it for my wallpaper if you don't mind that is
Ah, so you are nearly mortal after all
Huge range and the lighting was the important thing. I deliberately under exposed as its easier to get the detail back from the dark sections whilst still keeping control of the light. I also wanted the shutter speed reasonably fast to freeze the couple (hand held anyway). I'd rather do it that way than raise the ISO ever higher - ok with B&W but I always wanted the blue neon to come through.
I love the sepia tones with the blue neon - it gives the pic a very graphic art feel.
