New 80gb ipod. Download films as well as music. Hmm....

    http://www.apple.com/uk/ipod/ipod.html

I had a first generation iPod (when they were Mac compatible only). This sure is tempting though.....

The new shuffle and nano look really cool as well!

I suppose apple had to do something about the complaints of scratches on the Nano (new one reminds me of the mini Ipod!)

I have a 3rd Gen iPod. Can't complain. Hours of music pleasure. Well built and never a fault.

Quite like the look of the new Microsoft Zune (a rebadged Toshiba but not necessarily a bad thing). 3" screen (current iPod has a 2.5" screen), FM radio, the ability to wirelessly(!)swap tunes with other Zune users...

None of the Hard-Drive MP3 players are perfect:

iPod: 80 GB Hard-Drive, no FM Tuner, no Wireless connections

Zune: 30 GB Hard-Drive only but FM Tuner, Wireless connections

I've just got a nano, 78 quid in currys for a 1 gig, just right for me, i store my music on my pc so why spend all that extra on a bigger one i though!
I spent all my money on booze, drugs, and women, the rest I squandered

I picked up a black 5th gen 30gig iPod. Slinky little beast and the vid quality is really good for the screen size. How long would it to take you to rip 80gig worth of CD's though......weeks and weeks...

people are getting to caught up in mobile media imo, theese things are just modern day walkmans , with far too much choice on them, if i wanna watch a movie ill watch it at home , same goes for music.....

each to thier own i suppose.

    rant over
Simply as a result of the laws of physics, no speaker is perfect, even the most costly.

But if technology is carefully applied to minimise the effect on making music, the illusion of reality can be remarkably convincing.

My new mobile phone (Sony Ericsson W810i) is more than adequate as a walkphone/man/pod hence why I sold my Ipod earlier on!
