Based on past experience, if a player is top notch, clubs like MCFC (to whom cash is not important) and MUFC (who have the Glazer gutbuckets to support) find the cash. Rather than United not finding it, the fact that MCFC didn't bother I think tells a story of it's own. Whether he is difficult and a team problem or he's overhyped, the fact that MCFC walked away is very interesting and a clue as to what Mancini is thinking.

Not sure why people think Hulk boy is worth £38M? Is it because he can sell a few shirts or because he will turn green when he misses?

I say to the Chav, yes please buy Hulk for £38M + wages + signing on fees.

Although, they are starting to show some sense in chasing Fellani, who could actually work in their team.

Was watching yesterday Chelsea 2011-2012 official DVD - as I thought, Liverpudlian Spanish Senor Torres played/scored quite well. As in last 2 Spanish Euro matches. Soon he will realise he is as good as I am at scoring/resume his success.

The official 2011-12 DVD I bought is passable, but misses off all of the great stuff/never mentions the Youth Cup etc etc etc wins.

I have contacted ITV-ESPN-Sky-Chelsea Megastore etc etc, but they are too daft to make easily/sell off proper DVDs-BDs.

Congratulations to CHELSEA (in their silly white diagonal-pale blue stripeaway kit) having the decency - despite going a goal down - then to go ahead through TERRY and LAMPARD against MLS ALL-STARs (including Thierri Henry-Beckham on holiday from Limp Pix-Donovan etc.

It was particularly sporting of them to remove the scorers, then to enjoy US team 3-2 victory. Fine merchandising.
