NVA Amps.
Hello,
Just out of curiosity (Like always) is anyone here using NVA amplification? How do these amps sound?
Plus, does NVA amps sound very alike to Naim?
Kind Regards,
Shane.

I use NVA amps in a second system (NVA Phono 1, P50sa pre, 2 x A80 mono power). They are very "neutral", and certainly don't draw attention to themselves - the source material shines through at all times. Others will disagree, but I feel that the Naim amps I've had (old style Chrome) impart a certain forward quality to the music they portray: the NVA amps don't. I've only heard the newer Naim variations at Hifi shows, which is never the best method of showing your best qualities, so I can't really do a more recent comparison.
I find that NVA amps are closer to Exposure in sound signature than Naim - IMHO of course.

Very interesting. What speakers are you using with the NVA?

They prefer simple crossover stuff, e.g. old Royds, Neats, etc. Having said that, I'm using them with Isobariks, and they work well.

Super Wammer
I am buying a set of A80s and Royds were recommended to me too.
