In a similar vogue, the Kef IQ range are front ported, well build and efficient, plus they should image well with your listening distance :

    'Mine' should be here tomorrow.

Look out for the ultimate test; powering ESL57s. If it sounds reasonable into that load, it'll be a masterpiece. If not, it'll make a nice box to put the Audiosector into...

Bucket of water at the ready.

I doubt it, unless your normal listening levels are very low. I don't know it's damping factor, but at only 20Wpc it's unlikely to have anywhere near enough grip for any Dyns.

I've tried it with my ESL 57's with game changing results, I am really asking myself (bling factor apart) why would I spend more !.

Be interested in another 57'ers opinioin.

Save the water to dilute the scotch , it won't be needed.

I agree my trends TA10.1 worked with a pair of els 57' as well as electrocompaniets or sugdens and sounded very decent. But for me they are a little way from the brilliance that can be had from the direct connection with the musical event of a single ended pentode or triode amps - So garage owners from Bletchley should be able to sleep at night.
Personally I dont need or want a rusty wire with gain.

Oh and thanks Wayne - it looks like you have taken some good advice.
