    These look interesting:

    https://www.audiophilecandy.com/prod...mp;0=More+Info

But they cost £19.95 from hififorsale. Cant find them anywhere else, anyone tried them? They looka bit like the Wattgate IEC things but mains plugs instead.

"clipsal" do them in their weatherproof range.
looks good , allows large diameter cable and is a snug fit into socket

If you really want to go to town make your distribution block by buying the matching sockets then the outer ring of the plug screws onto the socket for a great fit that can not come lose

    Dave,

Problem with the clipsils, is try putting 2 together in a double wall socket, they don't sound that good either, most guy uses them purely to put large diameter cables in.
Which IMO defeats the point as the hang horizontally and the weight of the cable pulls the socket out of the wall (if they use those 13mm+cables)
    IMO

Clipsal are a lighting Company. WTF has that got to do with HiFi. Just use a standard plug from B&Q, unless we are now expected to beleive that plugs make a difference too. :raoflmfao::raoflmfao::raoflmfao:

So you reckon it's worth the price? Certainly looks nicely made. Are the pins gold plated? Also, do you sell them if not where can you buy em?

Why do you need 12mm cable in a plug? It's single phase mains into my HiFi not bus bars and Commando sockets running round the house.
