These look interesting:

But they cost £19.95 from hififorsale. Cant find them anywhere else, anyone tried them? They looka bit like the Wattgate IEC things but mains plugs instead.

There is a much better one than that its the clear one as used by Kimber looks great
Its made for outside water proof use, its sold in the UK
I did know where to buy them, there is a thread on hi fi choice with full details, but at present I can not remember the details
will do some homework I think Mr Coherent here might know
I find this place http://whs.ingraphix.co.uk/ a great source for cables, plugs etc.
"clipsal" do them in their weatherproof range.
looks good , allows large diameter cable and is a snug fit into socket
Found them
£6.50 each http://www.screwfix.com
Nice one - thanks!
If you really want to go to town make your distribution block by buying the matching sockets then the outer ring of the plug screws onto the socket for a great fit that can not come lose![]()
What you really want is one of these simpley the best plug I've heard of the genre

Dave,
Problem with the clipsils, is try putting 2 together in a double wall socket, they don't sound that good either, most guy uses them purely to put large diameter cables in.
Which IMO defeats the point as the hang horizontally and the weight of the cable pulls the socket out of the wall (if they use those 13mm+cables)
IMO

So you reckon it's worth the price? Certainly looks nicely made. Are the pins gold plated? Also, do you sell them if not where can you buy em?
Best UK plug I've tried PERIOD
I had 5 a few weeks backs, before the UK launch.
I don't source from the UK.
