Generally you pays yer money and... That said, my ickle 2A3 integrated does work, and work very well. It could do with a new/replacement/better PSU for the heating but other than that it's great.
Some Chinese kit has 'quality issues' - well-documented here and elsewhere. Mostly they seem to take a reasonable circuit and build it with OK parts. A great basis for a cheap system, or something to build on if you're a DIY-er.The best hifi show in the UK today - http://www.thehifishow.com/
