Well, they will be different to the Rogers. If you like them like might never be the same again...
Cheap price, I think I paid that for the pair I had.
I wasn't a fan, and tbh didn't get them at all! I had some Rogers at the time IIRC. I sold them for triple what I paid!
I spent all my money on booze, drugs, and women, the rest I squandered
Yeah total bargain! You did well there. Usually go for around £100 - £150 odd, depending on condition. Just be careful, they're addictive...![]()
i know ive been playing music all morning and dont want to stop the sound from the speakers for their size is superb you wouldn't expect from such a small speaker
Dan
You have been Royd-eed![]()
40 quid!!! fooookin `ell thats cheap! the cheapest have ever bought any is £65 and that was years ago for some battered black ones that I had to repair!..and i consider myself a top Royd Bargain hunter!
40 quid!!!! bahh...
40 quid - what an great price.....never seen them go for much less than 100 on the bay!! Good job!!
To make this clear - they are great at any price. £40? Pah!![]()
I tried these out when they were first released, and was amazed by their incredible sound. Cracking pair.....
Unbelievable sound from such slim boxes. £40? Did you ask for a five year warranty?
Who says there aren't silly bargains about. Great speaker.
Mastersound Due Trenta Class A Single Ended KT88, Sonos, Jolida Glass FX Tube Dac, Arcam DV137 (DVD's and SACD only), Vandersteen 1ci's, Nordost Silver Shadow, Audioquest - NRG Power, Sky i/c & Gibraltar s/c
I've got mine playing in the kitchen through a mini t amp, they are great
They really draw you in, great music players!!
Light travels faster than sound, which is why some people appear bright until they speak.
One of the most memorable musical events I had in my house involved these speakers. Many years ago. Exposure CDP/XX1/XV111 monos /minstrels/Rel storm sub.
I'll have to do this again. I recall it being laughably good.
I was completely bowled over, as were my visitors. Ive still got this set up , here and there. The Royds are currently in the bedroom with a Denon tuner and a Pioneer A400. These also sound superb.
Fantastic wee jems and an absolute bargain at £40.
Enjoy !
