Just listening to this and have remembered how absolutely stunning "the man who loved beer" is - rest of the album is not quite up to that level but still pretty good imo.

Anyone got any recommendations for other lambchop albums?

ps. picked it up from Fopp for a fiver seems like its just been re-issued

Is A Woman is my fave...didn't really get on with Nixon for some reason. The last one "Damaged" is a cracker as well.

I also have "Is a woman", "Nixon" and "Damaged".
My fave has to be "Is a woman" - i've just been listening to it actually.

I'm not too keen on "Damaged". It's not bad but gets a bit repetitive IMO.

Got most of their albums - 9 I think - to me the best one is

    "What another man spills"

Although it is a close call...

Nixon and Is a Woman are my faves.

What Another Man Spills is quite good too.

Nixon is slightly more upbeat. I stress the word slightly. You can hardly call Lambchop upbeat.

Quite a bit of ambling rilly, but I like the odd amble every now & then...
