Ummm - you've not been on there much clearly ...... they can get proper bolshy at times .... sometimes enough to even put down the broadsheet while raising their voice!
No seriously ... it is just different - no point having different forums all being the same, it is good they are different, suit different people and TBH when it gets too ranty here, it is nice to have debate over there without people squaring up at each other.

Gosh this is bit like being in the "resistance".
So sorry for all the grief our leaders have been getting, never realised it was so serious and always enjoyed the lightheartedness of the Wam.
I guess as a lightweight member I never noticed any of the political or angry stuff, always took it as banter.
One of those I suppose who took for granted that such a place of kindrid spirits just ran smoothly and the guys in charge where enjoying doing it.
I never got to know who did what, but I know it was a brilliant forum, so just a belated thankyou for all your efforts and most of all fun. Tref
