Pretty much mint example of this compact, up-sampling DAC. 2 x optical/coax in, USB in. Balanced and RCA out.
Pretty much as impressive as the reviews suggest. New cost £229 yours for £170.
Oh -and why not try a Chevron Audio mains filter for your sources? £35.
