FS: Squeezebox+ dual box music streamer (oak finish)

I am selling my Squeezebox+ (not to be confused with lesser Squeezeboxen):-

Price reduction to £550 plus P&P (was £600).

This is a heavily modified Squeezebox with uprated this, that and the other. A second box houses a very beefy regulated power supply and every care has been taken to ensure that the sound quality is pretty much as good as it gets with streaming devices.

Price includes Logitech remote, connecting power cable and main cable.

Hi Nigel.

I'm moving across to a Mac-hosted music system (mainly to add general media streaming into the mix - i.e. movies as well as audio) and if I do this I will have duplication in the system. In terms of SQ, my own tests show that the USB output of a good quality lossless track into an Audiolab CDQ or a Benchmark DAC1 HDR is comparable or even slightly better than that of the SB+ via its digital outs into the same, so it makes sense to sell. The SB+ gives absolutely astounding results with its analogue outputs, but the route I am going in mean that it's just not going to be feasible to connect using analogue.

OK, I'll take some over the weekend (difficult at the moment as tungsten lighting doesn't flatter anything). It's a really great unit and I'm almost tempted to keep it.
