Good luck! Will be watching closely.
BTW, you can get 2SK79 small signal VFETs on ebay, too.
Everything rattles, you just need to shake it hard enough.
Cheers Pete
Just sticking to the fig11 cct at the mo,some nice bulbs hopefully coming from across the pond

couple of funky heatsinks ordered 200mm length.
The 2SK82's dissipate around 45watts, their thermal resistance is around 0.5C/W

bias cct will be the generic version
Bulbs are here

can you put some resistors instead of bulbs or there's some specific reason why they are there?
Horn OK Please!
What variety of o/p coupling cap do you intend using?
I plan to build one of these with an output transformer and a decent choke input supply/shunt reg.
Eventually.
Everything rattles, you just need to shake it hard enough.
& a sit input stage?![]()

Cool!
Fuck the horns, I just listen to the Snells now.

ha ha no probs, no scratches, honest !
the IMF's now have a pair of HF2000's,seemed to be easier to get than 8ohm HF1300's they are like rocking horse....
Speakers now mounted on some M6 spikes instead of those funny feet.
Sounding very nice![]()
that's great news rob your find them elusive 8ohm soon,
