Have they done this all themselves? If so it's a heck of an investment with the streamer plus iPhone, iPad and Android apps. Or maybe licensed someone else's technology? If so I'd love to know whose.

The main interesting thing to me was that they plan to allow the entire guts of the streamer to be built in to future products, starting with the new DAC

It looks lovely - but $1250 for a glorified squeezebox?? I guess exactly the same can be said about the naim and Linn offerings...

The iPad app looks a lot like the Sonos one. I don't have enough experience to tell for definite but it probably looks like a/the Squeezebox one too.

TBH this is what I expected Devialet to build into their kit, but they, err, chose the road less taken. A Moon amp with a DAC and one of these on-board would be simply spiffing.

Looks more like Sonos ipad app than SB, iPeng or Squeezepad. LMS runs on open source code, so maybe Moon have had it written in perl, to save all the hardwork coding, and concentrate on integration and support.
