FS: Dynavector L300 MKII pre, P300 phono stage, HX1.2 MKII power amp

Up for sale is my cherished pair of Dynavector amplifiers:

- an L300 MKII preamp with a stunning P300 phono stage built in (MM/MC with adjustable settings). This is the latest spec model, whose current RRP 5,870 pounds. Grab a bargain at 3,000.

- an HX 1.2 MK II power amp (one of the last few ever built, I'm told). RRP was 4,600 pounds, selling for 2,600.

The price for both would be 5,300.

I'd prefer collection from Reading, but can post at buyer's cost. A demo is possible, too.

You will of course know how rarely these come up on the used market. Both units are totally as new and blemish-free. Last year, they were checked over by John Burns from Pear Audio and declared "absolutely A1". I've got the original boxes, crates, remote, etc.

This is an amazing combo, and by far the best kit I've ever owned. I may be wrong, but I see the DV amps as the pinnacle of "flat earth" sound, and I've heard of people selling their 552's, etc. to buy the L300/P300/HX1.2 combo. The amps are extremely transparent, so would need to be used with a decent source. I'll be sorry to see them go, but needs must!

This is a great pre/power combo and partnered with the Obelisk creates a wonderfully dark, moody but very engaging presentation that jazz, blues and folk fans will love. Personally heard with a Well Tempered for very relaxed 'club' sound.
