I exhibited in room 21 last year. The acoustics are quite challenging.

GF 75 this year was alright. Not a huge room but it sounded alright with my speakers firing accross the room. It's also next to the fire exit, so it's easy to get stuff in and out.

Syndicate 14 Ground Floor - Next size up from a bedroom. Around 4-4.5m square at a guess. I had seating for about 12 I think. No major sound issues and probably not suited to speakers larger that a standard floorstander.

Very close to one of the side exits so ideal for loading and unloading.

Simpson Room (First Floor) Very large, sound very variable depending where you sit (bass light to very boomy). Off the beaten track so traffic is variable and getting to it is a bit awkward (two narrow doors, a couple of awkward steps). Only two neighbours (assuming no PA in the foyer below) so no issue with sound bleed in (can't comment on our impact on the neighbouring rooms).

If it's not on the ground floor you could always ask some wammers to help you carry stuff. They are helpful like that.

Yes I know, but having shifted these speakers 3 times already from dealer to house, then house to another, then back they are stupidly awkward and heavy for even 3 men and a sacktruck. Steps just add to the pain.

Two men and flat ground is fine. Krell is ok with two men for a short distance too. As it will be only me the hassle of a 2nd floor room will be just too much unfortunately.
