I have changed my Rega Brio 3 for a Sonnetter Campion in my kitchen....yes the Campion is the better amp but the extra detail seems to be traded for the warmth of the Rega......never used a buffer before......is it with adding one?

I owned the EE BBA for a while, using it as a single input pre-amplifier and it was a lovely bit of kit. My instinct tells me though that if the basic components aren't giving you the sound you want, then adding bits isn't the solution. Others may disagree of course.

Yeh....exactly like that....but....since the post I have had Radio 6 on....have only had the Sonneteer for a week and with ClassicFM on all as was working from home and can concentrate easier with no vocal music....with 6music it sounds bloody great....just thin sounding with classical, oh well I suppose that is why we choose what we do and cant have everything
