I presume that if I am watching a programme on the internet, I can record it much as I can do with a DVD player linked to the TV? But what do I need to be able to do this?
Our Freeview/DVD is only a single tuner (you can only watch the programme that is recording) so if my wife is recording one of those many cop shows I want to record something else.

Nice to have/use this sort of option ... I sure did for recent redoing of Budweiser 2012 proper FA Cup Final. Commercial video versions still not on sale officially.
Usually I use an ancient USB Hauppauge TV widget/record default via Windoze Media Centre/Center, edit-convert etc suitably afterwards ...
Ther are of course fine free-paid for progs which record 'on (PC etc) screen' activity, which I also use for some iPlayer stuff ... (e.g. missed episodes of 'Timmy Time').Last edited by Chumpy; 22-06-2012 at 07:59 AM.
