Sondex DE1 Phono Stage -- Input matching board data

OK folks here is a Hi-Fi Wigwam "first time on the web" exclusive kind of deal.

What is the Sondex DE1 a few of you will be asking ? well it's one of British Hi-Fi's best kept secrets, a phono stage originally designed and built by Aston Audio of Alderley Edge, the only problem stopping this from being popular in recent years is a massive lack of information regarding the input matching board components.

I have searched the Web for at least 7 years looking for the information that I knew I already had, but could not find it, either on the Web or in my storage boxes, that all changed last week as I was browsing through an old Hi-Fi magazine box, it hit me as i was reading through the Winter 1985 Vol6 No.3 edition of Electronics Digest to Ogle the Stan Curtis "System A" power amps I never got around to building, there it was, the spec sheet I have been searching for, for so long.

Anyway, I decided that there are possibly a few other people out there in interwebland waiting or searching on how to open the Pandora's Box that is the Sondex DE1.

Here is all the infomation that I have for 7 official board set ups along with one I created to run a Linn Troika and Koetsu Black, also happens to work extremely well with a Linn Arkiv.

Big thanks from me as I love my DE-1 - it's an absolute belter on MM. I have one set of MC200 boards but about 3 MM2s, so I'm thinking it might be time to modify one or two of them to extend its range a bit.

    Information gratefully received!
