trying to acommadate 3 turn tables

ah well we start somewhere
bits of wood lol the problem was the only space i had was on top of 2 side by side units , now these resonated like billyoh , so try to incorporate some sound deadoning and some isolation at the same time ,

so spied some rubber sheeting (reformed no tyres used so no metal) 6 x 4 feet ,used that on top of the units , then some ply , then some home made sanwiches formed from ply and soundproofing sheets , thanks garry so follow the pics , must have d

one something right the rumble from the ariston is greatly improved and is very acceptable .

It might be worth isolating your other kit - transformer vibration from the other kit may travel to the turntables.

oh BTW, well done on wearing clothes (some :-) ) for the picture & shutting down the porn on the computer before taking pics :-)

yep gonna do the rubber sheet thing on the power amp cdp / amp meridian etc , only just remembered to switch the naughty films off and throw on some shorts

Lovely neat job Tommy..Looks very nice and presentable too.....Be even better when you get them stained up and bit of oil / polish...(Get Irene involved hee-hee)..Be Monday / Tuesday before I can get over...Looking forward to having a listen / play....You should put Your cd player in the middle.....looks odd with that Ariston...It looks out of place on that timber..It would look much nicer on a Black Sound Organisation stand...

not quite stu , i still have the class a denon amp 3 x phono inputs and the sansui has 2 , so boyh AR's via the denon and the ariston via the sansui , so a bloody expensive switching box but the denons' phonostage is very good and the sansuis' is not shabby either

looking good mate, really like using the wood. if you look at the pics I send I put a wood veneer over the foam, just iron it on.
got a roll of eBay pretty cheap and can match the veneer with your furniture

yep , did look carefully , a roll of veneer is the future when funds are freed up mate , and again , said below a huge thanks gaz
