    Sony A6B FM Tuner

Hi guys apologies if this is pretty basic stuff but can someone tell me the type of connector I need to hook up an external FM aerial cable to this tuner please?

I think these connectors in the link below are what i need but I'm not sure.

The 75ohm connector on the back of the tuner is a male threaded one and completely different from the more modern connectors (coax plugs) that are mainly used for your TV aerial.

And if anyone has a PDF of the user manual for this tuner that they could perhaps send me then I would be extremely grateful.

    Thanks in advance.

    Tony

Looks like you have the right page, I was thinking it sounded like an F-type connector, it's also what many Dab tuners use too...think I got one from Maplin a few years back.

    Thanks Chris

I bought a Coax plug to 'F' plug adaptor from Maplins which allows me to plug the aerial lead with a Coax plug straight onto the tuner without messing about with different plugs on the cable.

Still looking for a user manual if anyone has one?

I've downloaded the service manual from this link below, you have to register but they have loads of user and service manuals to download free, well worth registering IMO.
