Awesome, the violence of the engine is extraordinary.![]()
Violence, yes thats it, they are f'ing mental, raw, crazy mad mother fucking motors, devil cars, AAARRRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHH scare the mother out of you loud!! Can only imagine 20 of these mother's smoking the start/finish line, instant deafness!
How are these cars so loud? no exhaust? straight pipes and 16,000rpm?
GIVE ME ONE NOW i can beat shoe maker, .......................not really, i would wet myself with the shear violence and noise of the cars on the starting line!! Im in total awe of these cars and their drivers.
Nothing to see here.....move along please!
If you enjoyed that then do yourself a favour and get some tickets for Silverstone.
The noise as the grid forms up and the cars launch is unbelievable.(*)
The rate at which they can decelerate and turn has to be seen to be believed.
If you have to sell a child and a kidney make sure to get to watch a race live at least once.
(*) I've spent a lot of my life at racetracks, both wrenching for privateers and marshaling.
The sounds as dozens of classic motorcycles line up at the start is deafening but it doesn't come close to the sound the F1 cars produce.
The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head.
Love the F1 at Silverstone, going to be missing it this year for the first time in ages. Don't follow the mechanics of F1, but ~6 - 8 years or so ago they made a change to the cars which means they are now alot quieter than they used to be. When I started going, you had to have foam inserts in your ear for the race or it was painful
, last couple of races I've been to I have not had any protection, although it is possible that this is because I have just been to too many of the races and buggered my ear-drums

For those who have yet to experience F1, you seriously don't know what you're missing. One of those things for the Bucket List for sure. For those like me who think its a good idea to turn up without earplugs, so it won't interfere with the sound enjoyment, don't make the same mistake, it was bloody painful!!!. I'm glad I was able to experience it though, however trying to describe the sound is nearly impossible. In my humble opinion, I would describe it as F**king Mental.
Haven't been for a good many years now as F1 became sooooooo dull for a while. Can't remember the exact years but it was Mansell at Williams, active suspension trials, sticky qualifying tyres et-al. To see Mansell come round Stowe corner, visibly faster than anyone else, on those sticky tyres made you believe they were breaking the laws of physics! As stated, the noise in the opening laps when they are all together has to be heard, and felt, to be believed. The racing is certainly back on song now but unfortunately it's all just too expensive for me now.
The world could be a great place.... if I were the only one on it!
My local circuit Knockhill has had the odd F1 car circulate, the surrounding hills and trees make the sound echo, awesome.
