Hi Sam, I've got a jvc ql-a5 direct drive with an ortofon mm cart (can't remember which though, I'll ask)
Works great, lid is a bit scuffed from being polished.
£75 (which is what I paid for it earlier in the week, car problem forces sale sadly)
I can bring it over your way for a listen if required, not far from me)

heres a quick pic. turns out the lid doesn't stay open, i never realised as i played records with it taken off.... (i think the cart is an ortofon VMS20 with a replacement stylus on it)

Just want to say Thx - my friend is chuffed to bits with her new deck. Got it set up at hers and it works really well in her kit, good punchy dynamic sound. She had the biggest smile as she played the records that have not been spun in a couple of decades, and is already wanting to add more vinyl to her collection.
