Hi all
I have a beautiful gyro on the way, with the orbe platter.
However, I really want to try the gyro with the gyro platter, mainly because my daughter loves it and I can see her (well trying to get her) getting entranced by the wonderful and evil world of vinyl .
Ill use the orbe long term, but if anyone has a spare gyro platter for sale, (or knows where i can get one) I'd be really grateful.
Also need a minty unicover too.

Yeah see how much Michell want. I sold my Gyro platter after getting the Orbe platter, arm damping kit and densodamp compound.
To my ears, the bass definition is better and generally the sound is more accurate and less obviously hyped. The record clamping mech is also a superior design - no concave platter used here.
Sure the Gyro platter looks pretty, and if your system lacks life, it could even be the better option. A raw Gyro can really spit fire at you in the right system.

I have a friend who has gyro platter for sale, it has the gold weights. He wants £140 for it, which is half the price of a new one.
As far as I know it is in excellent condition. If you are interested, I will inspect and confirm condition.They say Life is good............but compared to what?
