I'm fully aware of that, however, if you read the OP (always a good idea) you will see the line:

All Neil Young's efforts can be posted here so Buffalo Springfield, CSNY, Crazy Horse are welcome.

He was part of CSNY, wasn't he?

I choose to allow CSNY and Buffalo Springfield songs as Neil was a big part of both those bands and it would be difficult to have threads for them alone really.

I have pretty much all of NYs official output (maybe one or two others also) and it's hard to pick one. Too many choices. Trans is my least fav and sounds most dated with that vocoder thing going on.

So Rockin in the Free World (again) this time acoustic. How to ROCK with acoustic and harp. Far better than the electric version imho.

    Masterful:

The man is a total legend.

A big campaigner for good sound recording quality and against music compression.
So wammers have that in common.
Thanks for starting the thread off Dean.

We were @ this gig and it was a cracker.............

The guitar riff @ 2mins 50 secs, to his left, was aimed & Rob & me.

In my mid teens when i first started getting into Neil Young i had an ongoing row with a prat that insisted that Ozzy Osborne was a much bigger star. He is still wrong!!!
