Anyone built or heard these loudspeakers? Have been offered the drive units/crossover components still boxed, unused for £100. I believe they were £230 when available. Just thought it might be a nice wee project to purchase them and build the cabinets during my 'summer!!??!' holidays thinking that they may sound better than my 80's Rogers LS7's. Any feedback greatly appreciated thanks.

    Go for it!

I have a pair and they are neutral, transparent and image well. They should trounce your Rogers but put the cross overs in seperate boxes outside the cabinets.

I had a cabinet maker build my enclosures out of 44mm thick oak veneered mdf and a 25mm thick solid oak front baffle and they sound great.

The only other thing I did was rebuild the crossovers with Mungdorf capacitors and this has helped transparency.

For £100 they are a steal. Build them and enjoy!
