At this precise moment.........YES.
But earlier tonight I lost out on a pair of 8000M's by £20.
Another 8000P would suffice , or....................................
What's the verdict on 8000SX ? Would it be OK to Bi-amp along side an 8000P ? One for HF t'other for LF.
Happy ???? probably not.
och a dinnae ken !!!!
chezi.
when I listen to it, yes
when I come on here, no
been listening to the stiletto tonight, they do bass the couch vibrates and its roughly 3.5 metres away, treble is nice and smooth and is nicely integrated, seems to have a nice boogie factor and the midrange is liquid smooth, for £1000 this is a stunning speaker, ultimately it doesn't shift as much air as the others i have but the only consequence of that is a lower volume than the bigger models, if you are a sugden 21 a kinda guy or don't listen at headbanging volumes, or your room is very small (I have these 6 " from the wall) then you won't find a more coherent musical speaker this side of £1500, can't wait to hear the 6's
the system is fantastic. Just need a bigger room now. Oh, and a concrete floor.
Currently running: Sharp SM-SX100, Teac P500, Celestion SL700. Lounge: Pioneer VSX-LX70, Philips CD960, Arcam P7, Wharfedale Opus 3/ centre/ tri-poles, REL Stadiums/Q400e
they are without a doubt the class of the £1000-£1500 speaker range
forget your crappy PMC's and GR20's
[runs and hides]
Wait till you try the wazoo on them, and then when the DP comes back, you'll forget any notion of a sub, believe me. Will let you know how I get on with the 6's when get them.
Yes,well as long as I steer clear of listening to something else, or someone else’s system that sounds better
D'oh, Why Do My Actions Have To Have Consequences?
YES, I LOVE THE SOUNDS THAT MY LITTLE BOXES MAKE.
MAYBE, JUST WONDER SOMETIMES HOW GOOD MY SYSTEM COULD GET
NO, NEED BIGGER ROOM, MORE MONEY, BETTER EARS, ART EMOTIONS
LEE
YES, very happy!
I've reached a very satisfactory level, with both systems.
One is for exciting, detailed, dynamic, dedicated listening, the other for relaxed, lazy ear pleasing sessions
It all depends on the mood and the Music that I listen to..
Both, very well balanced and sounding great!
Live simply, so others may simply live.
