Oh that film!!! Yes I have seen the film but wasn’t aware that it was Arthur C Clarke. I know more about Clarke due to his diving school in Sri Lanka rather than as a writer.
You can reduce the file size, or delete your older pics.I gave up trying to post mine it kept saying the image size was too big
It looks as if the curtains are about to open and then dancing girls are on a stage.Lights normally dimmer for listening. No hifi in sight other than speakers and it would be better if I couldn’t see them! We are listening to Purrcell; naturally.
Had to compress mine to 2mb. Loads of compression software onlineI gave up trying to post mine it kept saying the image size was too big
My 1SC’s are a post above. Lovely speakers will never part with mine either. They might be small, but my Proac 1SCs are not going anywhere. Fed a decent diet they still amaze me. They can fill the house. Hours of pleasure.

Most have compromises of some sort. I have a sofa just to the right in my photo, so I avoid a speaker firing over it but I have an asymmetrical layout as a result (space to the right of the right speaker that doesn't exist to the lef of the left speaker).I see. Few people have the same problem as me. A settee in front of one of the speakers. When I have a serious listen I take the back cushions off. Wish I could remove the arm nearest the speaker lol.
