  12. Welcome Darren, remember this thread is dangerous. I started it back in 2006, and it has cost me a fortune, a kidney, and my sanity . Thank goodness they invented streaming. If it wasn’t for Deezer, I’d be bankrupt by now.

  18. Thank you all for being so friendly I'll read other topics and I'd love to become part of the community. It actually sounds quite decent....it's all budget equipment, as that's all I could afford... I can always upgrade when my circumstances change. Just to say thank you again for being friendly and helpful, Darren

  26. I agree there are deep oceans of BS in this hobby, but the Kiis Live up to the hype, completely full-range , cardioid response, phase coherent , virtual point sources, sophisticated boundary , tone controls ... Keith

  37. All sorted - Spoke with E.A.R. on Friday and they very kindly opened their doors for me to drop off my kit around midday on the Saturday. Now that's what I call customer service. Thanks to them. Although I might be less enthusiastic about the final bill.... And superb Wamming spirit from Jamie, thanks so much; you really stepped up and I can't thank you enough for your generosity. Top Wamming....

  38. Good News! I have just bought a track saw (with plunge) from Lidl. Tried it out and it works really well, possibly not quite up to the Festool standard but for a fifth the price I'm not complaining, 70 quid. The track is in two sections each 70cm, that join up to make 1.4m. Henry
