What about this? https://docs.linn.co.uk/wiki/index.php/Recommended_Ethernet_Switches
The initial leak posted on the Naim forum (which lasted only about 90 minutes before being moderated by Richard) did not come from a dealer. It came from a hi-fi review site that posted prior to the embargo date. I took screen shots before it was pulled
Not so sure about that. Does anyone have an approximate idea how many $25k Klimax level LP12's Linn sells on an annual basis?
500 is quite a lot of $20k turntables to sell IMHO. Let's see how it goes and how long it takes
The leak did not come from a dealer. The original (now deleted) post last night on the Naim forum came from the Positive Feedback website. I took a screen shot as I knew it would be removed from both the Naim and PF site.
My insomnia had me up surfing the web when the leak occurred. It was posted by the online website Positive Feedback - and I knew it was a good idea to take some screenshots. The two electronic boxes, phone stage and PS, are made by Naim. The turntable and new Aro tonearm are being made by ClearAudio "under Naim design and supervision". Limited to 500 examples - and $20k (US) as mentioned above. Sounds like a collectors edition/money grab dreamed up by the venture capitalists if you ask me.
Any further updates/speculation as to Organik updates for current KDS/3 owners? Since moving last year to a dCS Rossini/Clock in my Naim 552/500 system my KDS/3 has been relegated to a secondary headphone only system in my bedroom. I have been toying with the idea of trading in for the new version however logic and common sense dictate an upgrade board if it were to be made available. After all the KDS/3 is now in a secondary system. And no - my dCS Rossini will not be replaced. While my KDS has kept me happy since 2011, in /1, /2, and/3 versions - I am quite happy with my change to dCS and the Rossini. Quite a few fellow Naim and Linn owners have made the same journey. Best Gregg
I am confused. Are people buying via their US dealers and Linn is shipping directly to them instead of the units going first to the dealers? Or are they bypassing the US dealers and buying in Europe ?
Michael Where are you located? Which customs agency was this?
