  1. I bought a D10 USB DAC for my PC which I used mainly for games and video, The improvement over the inbuilt DAC is huge, I can now listen to music on the PC. I hooked up a pair of full range vintage Wharfedales via a DIY HP/pre and a Pass ACA 8watt power amp. Very happy with the SQ.
  2. I'm glad they bought the MM input back. My CSA14 had a great MM input but the CSA29 doesn't unless you ordered it with one, I have been searching for a few years for the Phono card without any luck.
  3. Had my Howards since 1995, wouldn't part with them. I paid 999 pounds.
  4. Taken on a beach in Bali about 25 years ago.
  5. I had a K100 and then an R100RS (twin shock). The R100RS was the best tourer I have owned.
  6. Could have been taken in Cornwall, but it is actually in South Australia.
  7. I remember my uncle owning a Dolomite Sprint.

  9. Mine draws 160 watts from the mains, it is only 25 watts per channel though, but that is more than enough. My 2nd class A power amp draws around 60 watts, it is 8 watts per channel.

  18. I'm no longer worried about the virus, I have just found out I have stuffed up arteries to my brain and to probably expect a nice exit from the virus.
  19. I have an MF A1, it is 20 watts into 8 Ohms Class A, runs hot DO NOT put anything on top unless it is fresh bread and you want toast I have used it to drive a pair of 1995 Castle Howards which are 92dB 1w/1m, did a great job with plenty of volume. It is now in my wife's workshop which is approx 70m2, source is a SB touch and it is driving a pair of Usher S520 standmounts, these are 86dB sensitivity. They are also reputed to be not an easy load. A1 drives them no dramas, not sure if it is due to the output level of the SBT, or being close to a corner, but SPL is pretty high. QA wasn't too good at one point in the production and insufficient thermal paste resulted in over-heating problems. Just something to be aware of.
