"Stasis" Nakamichi PA-7 Model, 200 Wpc,"Stasis amplifier", Nelson Pass Amplifier On Ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stasis-Nakamichi-PA-7-Model-200-Wpc-Stasis-amplifier-Nelson-Pass-Amplifier/132558972529?
I am breaking up a full Nakamichi system, with this integrated amplifier and the CD changer the last items to sell. This amp is in very good condition for its years, and has been serviced in the last 3 years. It works exactly as it should. This is the Asian version which gives the benefit of having a voltage selector on the back to use in whichever country you wish. The power cord has a two-prong on the end, but I use a simple travel adaptor in order to use it in the UK...no problems there. I will include this in with the sale. This amplifier also has a separate outlet for you to use your own (higher grade) power cord if you wish. I will be able to post this amp on April 3rd by courier, or you are welcome to collect it from Wells, Somerset. It weighs 15kg so if sent insured, expect around 20 GBP. Half that if without insurance. Selling price is 200 GBP or nearby offers. Here are the details: Rated at 80 watts per channel, the IA-1 features Nakamichi's unique Harmonic Time Alignment circuitry. Implemented with the finest, hand selected components, this technology enables the IA-1 to reproduce music convincingly - with exceptional transparency, definition and accuracy. The low impedance output stage can deliver an astonishing 28 amperes of peak current, enabling the IA-1 to drive the most demanding speaker loads with consummate ease. Specifications Power output: 80 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo) Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz Total harmonic distortion: 0.1% Input sensitivity: 0.125mV (MC), 2.5mV (MM), 150mV (line) Signal to noise ratio: 70dB (MC), 82dB (MM), 105dB (line) Output: 150mV (line) Speaker load impedance: 4Ω (minimum) Dimensions: 430 x 125 x 360mm
I am breaking up a full Nakamichi system, with this CD player and the amplifier the last items to advertise. This player is in very good condition for its years, and has been serviced in the last 3 years. It works exactly as it should and comes with remote control. Nakamichi has an very good reputation for its CD players not only its cassette decks, and if you research this model you will find it kicks many single CD players of similar retail price (I think $1000 when new) into the dirt. This unit banks 7 CDs. The power cord has a two-prong plug on the end, but I use a simple travel adaptor in order to use it in the UK...no problems there. I will include this in with the sale. I will be able to post this unit on April 3rd by courier, or you are welcome to collect it from Wells, Somerset. Another possibility at the beginning of April are Heathrow/M4/Devon locations where I will be driving. It weighs 8kg so if sent insured, expect around 18 GBP. Half that if without insurance. Asking for 120 GBP. Here are the details: Disc format: CD (7 disc multi play) Digital converter: PCM1700P, 18-bit, 8 x oversampling CD Mechanism: KSS-210A Frequency response: 5Hz to 20kHz Dynamic range: 98dB Signal to Noise Ratio: 105dB Channel separation: 95dB Total harmonic distortion: 0.004% Line output: 2V Dimensions: 430 x 100 x 375mm
Hi, I've been offered to take this set-up of Nakamichi separates (MD3 triple CD multiplayer, ST-2 Tuner, IA-1 amplifier, DR-1 cassette deck, B&W 630 speakers and sub). Any idea how good this old system might sound? It's hard to find some selling price history for these components but I wonder if some are desirable...namely the DR-1. What could I hope to get for each component on the 'bay or collectors forum?
