  1. Due to having a bit of a reorganization of my AV speakers, these are now surplus to requirements Really nice mid range and treble from the electrostatic panel, with the lower frequencies dealt by a conventional woofer I've had ML SL3s before and these were pretty close in performance Price £1000, but open to offers Happy to exchange or deliver within reasonable distance of South Cheshire
  2. As per title, pristine condition pair of Cherry wood Summit X's, bought from trade seller 3 years ago, one previous owner well looked after. A really great example. Nothing at this price second hand comes close IMHO. Non smoking environment. £6999 for the Summits . Have all boxes for transport... Cash on collection . UK only. Worcester .
  3. Martin Logan SL3 Loudspeakers - SOLD In excellent condition. 12 month warranty provided. See our website listing here Please call us on 0203 397 1119 for more information.
  4. Spotless pair with all packaging in mint condition. SOLD This pair were used for one week by the original owner before he traded them for a larger pair of Martin Logans. I've used them for a week myself. Pick up from SE London, or delivery anywhere in UK or Europe at cost. These are superbly integrated hybrids with exceptional mid-range clarity and surprisingly extended and controlled bass. Since the bass drivers are passive you don't need to worry about sub-bass controls and this makes them arguably the most seamless Martin Logan model. I found them significantly less demanding of power than ESL63s. A 50W Croft 7R sounded especially good. The great thing is that they can also sound stunning with a good budget integrated; for example I tried them with an old Onix 21 and it was a superb match. This kind of compatibility and ease to drive makes them even more of a bargain. I listened to Mozart piano music on these last week after returning home from a concert Uchida gave at the RFH. I was amazed at how close to the real experience they were; the clarity of these speakers with acoustic instruments and voices in particular is extraordinary, but they are also tight and dynamic. I used to love my ESL63s, but they never really got the force of a kick drum. The 8" woofer on these speakers addresses this issue with both speed and guts. Finally, they are easy to integrate in a small room. My room is 14'8" x 12 and the bass was extended and controlled. You just need the space behind the panel that all dipoles demand; 2 feet is enough, whilst 3 feet gives extra depth to the soundstage. The only reason I am selling is because the lack of vertical dispersion makes them less than ideal for dancing, since the treble dispersion drops off above the height of the panel. However this controlled dispersion is also very beneficial in avoiding room issues due to reflections, and an integral part of why electrostatics achieve such clarity. RRP is currently £2998 after the recent price rise, so this is a hardly used pair with a saving of £1250.
