Last night we lost picture. I looked behind the Sky box and found 2 cables have strangely come adrift. No idea where they go. I read the the back panel and tried to reattach the cables. No joy.

Please help!

Cheers, PP

The two are supposed to go in the two brown terminals. But why do you appear to have 3?
I've no idea. Don't where they've come from or go. I rarely, if ever, look at the back.

The only possible explanation for the leads being detached is the cat sometimes goes behind the TV... otherwise I'm stumped for a plausible explanation

They are screw in BNC connectors. Make sure the pin in the middle of them isn't bent. If you go to Settings - Signal, you'll soon discover if one of them isn't connecting to the dish.

The 2 in your hand should be the signal leads from LNB fitted to the dish and are known as F connectors. As has been pointed out, need to be screwed back into those terminals marked dish input 1 and 2 but god knows what you have got screwed in there already! Can you trace it back?
Very clever cat you have if it can unscrew F connectors!

Finally got it working okay. There is one cable (in the picture) where I'm still not sure of its location. Alas....

Thanks to all the guys who helped me.

Cats love cables, their favourite pastime is chewing them then pulling them out of their sockets...just check their guilty mushes when you have connection problems...aye it wuz the cat! 😀
