Hi, has anyone done the conversion from passive to active inside the speaker.
If so could someone please guide me through it.
There is no immediate hurry as my speakers are under warranty until 2025 but I would like to know in advance.

It is quite simple to do.

Just carefully unscrew the back panel, and gently ease it out trying not to disturb too much of the baff.

What you will see are 2 sets of cables running into the cabinet. and a pair of connectors as jumpers. One the board it clearly states what each does 'Passive' or 'Aktive' (think Linn spelt it wrong on their board :D )

Pictures show it in the Akitve position.

You can see the wires go straight from the terminals to the speakers, so no crossover. Other position - signal is going through all the crossover componnets to the drive units. Just be careful not to swap Bass/Mid with Tweet/S.Tweet...

And then screw the thing back together.

Don't over tighten the screws. You will just start to pull the inserts through the cabinet, and it will cause the plastic back panel to bow, possibly loosing a seal.
