Whats the big mother of an amplifier? in this picture ?

I ask because the DC power supply (little wooden box) I can see on the floor, looks like the one with my Usher and that large power amp is a lot like mine

I have the Usher pre amplifier and his pre amp on the shelf has one too many knobs (checked Usher web site too) the Usher is a copy of another companies amp, it might be he has the one its based on When I first bought the Usher someone did post the name of the amplifier it was based on

Hello Dave ,

The Pre amp is an Usher P-303 , it has tone controls , tone defeat and a loudness button.

Its not, I believe, as good as the P-307 .

The power amp is a Classe CA-100.

I would like to get a second one of these powers sometime, as long as its silver and has a quite close match serial number.

Any pictures of your set up Dave ?

pre is now on top shelf and another shelf fitted for power supply head phones and phono stage, it takes two hours to strip down and swap over from solid state to valves

other set up in use is valves some of the time

That's an audiophile carpet, if you don't mind! Thicker than normal carpet, more difficult to bend, and guaranteed free from all carpet noise.
