Not far from the truth actually  But yes I've gone for a cheaper option. My apologies to BladeRunner2019 and for not reading the forum rules properly beforehand (bidding on the thread). 

This is a wonderful amp and £1400 is a great price!

I've got this amp it was my end point from a box reducing exercise , I did lots of research mainly about it's phono stage , it's a cracker , I use it's MC input , the load is set at 50ohms and suits all the Ortofon MC carts among others . I believe the headphone amp is very good too , not a user myself .
