This is probably a stupid question but I'm an AV noobie so please go easy on me. 2 channel is my thing :)

My projector will use HDMI connection but my 2 channel Perreaux integrated amp does not have HDMI input.

My question is: What is the best way to integrate my projector video/audio into my 2 channel (or 2.1) set-up?

I have found 2 possible solutions.. I think...

Oppo 103 or 105 blu ray player as a "pre amp" with HDMI input?

or

Audiolab 8200AP Preamp with HDMI input?

As a next step I may upgrade to a dedicated jack of all trades pre and seperate 3 channel power.

Any help and ideas here really appreciated!!!

  1. No
All of the reasonable best in your desired outcomes.

Ideally, I advise e.g. HDMI or similar into HD projector, and sound dealt with suitably alternately ...

Others by law/economic-retail are encouraged to think differently.
